Napier has been creating memorable, high-quality jewelry for over a century and this remarkable two-tone clamper bracelet demonstrates why their reputation has long been so highly esteemed. The polished gold-plated, domed bangle is overlaid with thick, textured, rococo silver-plated swirls with applied patination that mimics the patina of age on sterling. The bangle is 7/8" high at the front opening and tapers to 5/8" at the securely hinged back. The width across the width of the oval is 2 3/8" and the it can open to a maximum of 2" at the front.
The lustrous golden areas are even in tone with no wear and the silver scrolls have very fine casting and finish: condition is wonderful. The "NAPIER" signature appears on the hinge. This is an impressive clamper which could easily pass for an older estate piece of fine gold and silver jewelry. Napier truly is worthier of investment.
