This vintage enameled owl pin and pendant/necklace has a simple, upbeat style that adds optimistic Pop Art cheer to your neckline or collar. Ms. Owl is 2" high and rendered in chocolate brown and vanilla cream with bright golden highlights and two rhinestone eyes.
This fun and flexible circa 1965 piece is in very fine condition. I can’t say if she’s wise, but she is crafty and enjoyed alighting on a variety of colored backgrounds to show off her versatility. Of course, being able to wear Ms. Owl as a brooch, thanks to her safety clasp pin, and a pendant—on her included 20" fancy link gold-plated chain (or a suede cord or ribbon) is pretty cool too. Hmm, come to think of it, that does make this a wise investment after all!
