Cheery Bakelite cherries dance on a brass chain amidst green plastic leaves in this upbeat 1930’s necklace. Each cherry is about 5/8" in diameter, and 2" long on stem (the curve of each stem varies). The stems are more pose-able and less floppy than most and in wonderful condition: you can bend them a bit to your taste. The molded plastic leaves are 7/8" long. Both cherries and stems are connected with brass rings.
The 17 1/4" long chain has the preferred warm patina of old brass and closes with a hook and safety coil ring. The cherries test very positive as Bakelite.
