This 1940’s sterling silver brooch by Jewelart captures a full-bloom rose in striking and strong three-dimensional detail from the furled leaves of the flower to the serrated leaves along the stem. The cast blossom is 2 ¾" high. 1 5/8" wide, and ¾" deep at the center of the rose. The dark patination on the silver adds depth to the spaces between the petals for added realism.
The "Sterling by Jewelart" applied plaque is on the reverse. The brooch has a safety clasp pin and is in superb condition.
