Dramatically Deco, this 1920’s sterling pendant necklace showcases a green chrysoprase cabochon surrounded by faceted marcasites in a geometric pierced mounting. The pendant itself is 1 3/8" long and 7/8" wide. The chrysoprase has a clean interior and glows gently. Each marcasite sits within a beaded-edge cell. The reverse of the pendant is stamped "sterling."
Just above the pendant is a dainty five-petal flower which leads to a larger eight-petal flower set with marcasites in two sizes.

The two strands of the novelty neck chain connect to this flower at bars of triple marcasites with the dainty flowers above and below. The inner length of the necklace is 16 ˝". It closes with a spring-ring clasp stamped "sterling." The necklace and pendant are in wonderful condition.
I believe the necklace is European; I know it’s a stunner with style that will make it a classic well into the next century as well.
