Here’s a darling pet who won’t ever need feeding and will be happy to perch on your lapel any day! This vintage sterling silver cockatoo parrot is 1 11/16" tall and sits on a tree branch 1 ¼" wide.
As I understand, cockatiels are a subset of the cockatiels and both are types of parrots.

This silver fantasy model has a lacy filigree body with textured crest feathers, pert beak, elongated wing feathers, and a large green chrysoprase or jade cabochon eye. The tree branch has a natural bark finish which adds to charm.
The reverse has an affixed "Sterling Germany" plaque and safety clasp pin. This sweet bird probably dates to the 1950s and is in wonderful condition.
