This 1960’s necklace is aglow with a continuous line of aurora borealis rhinestones sparked in the center with drops of foiled amethyst rhinestones—hugged by gold-plated leafy caps. The necklace is 16" long overall and has a hook clasp that yields a maximum wearable length of 15 ¾". Each amethyst round stone is cup-set and measures 7/16" including the pierced leaf overlay. The triple-stone center is 7/8" wide and 7/8" deep.
All the AB stones are prong-set in the chain strand. The plating is consistent throughout and all the stones are brilliant. I’d have to surmise the necklace was infrequently, if ever worn. Pretty, light on the neckline, a delicate delight for your more dreamy days.
