This1940’s gold ring features a simple and elegant rectangular aquamarine set in 10K yellow gold. The scissor-faceted stone measures 10mm by 8mm and has an estimated weight of 2.25 carats.

It is prong-set in a basket style with petal-shaped piercings on each side. The ring is a size 6 ½.

The stone has a pinpoint nick at one facet edge (seen with loupe) but no scratches. The table is smooth and well polished. The inside of the ring has the 10K gold stamp and the maker’s W hallmark. The aquamarine has good color saturation and a streamlined Retro style that is always in fashion.
