Glittering faceted marcasites set in sterling silver give subtle glimmer to the pierced design of this vintage cross pendant. It stands 2" without the bail and 2 3/8" with the bail; the width across the arms is 1 ¼". The center has a layered cross-within-a-cross motif with a larger marcasite mounted in a bezel.
The pendant is stamped "925 Sterling" on the reverse and comes on a 24" long fine box-link chain with spring-ring clasp stamped "925 Italy." The bail has a generous opening so you may substitute a ribbon, cord, or a strand of small beads up to 4mm in width for a different look. This carefully crafted symbol of faith is in very fine condition.
