This unique vintage pendant is a cylinder full of mustards seeds—a traditional symbol of faith and hope. The 5/8" long transparent jar has gold-plated round caps top and bottom and a ring bail. The 16 ˝" long gold-filled chain is new-old stock with a spring-ring clasp stamped "1/20 12K." The necklace is in wonderful condition.
Typically, one mustard seed is encased in a pendant for a touch of luck; with this abundance of seeds, your odds of good fortune can’t help but multiply!
Mustard seeds have been worn for centuries as talismans to ensure good luck and bright futures. One quote from the Bible states: If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed-nothing shall be impossible unto you." Matt. 17:20.
