This fun 1930’s "collar" necklace takes the form of a pair of double lapels in carved butterscotch Bakelite accented with cream plastic round beads. The 16 ˝" long necklace has four wedges of deep caramel or butterscotch Bakelite with hand-carved rosettes and leaves; the larger ones are about 5/8" wide by 1 3/8" long (all test very positive as Bakelite). They are separated by rounds of molded cream or ivory plastic beads.

The remainder of the necklace is made of tubular and smaller round plastic beads (one side has an extra small round bead) and is finished with a screw-in double round bead clasp.
The necklace is in wonderful condition; the double cords are strong. The design has a unique period charm that makes it a great filler on a bare neckline over a crew or jewel neckline top.
