The faux round pearls are 8mm in diameter and rise around the coins to enhance the design drama. Since Switzerland has four national languages, the Latin name, Helvetia is used on coins to keep all parties happy.
The earrings have firm but comfortable clip backs and are cast with the Carolee mark. They come on the original velvet-front "Carolee for Neiman Marcus" card. Condition is perfect, unworn, and the timing is ideal as the bold, "moneyed" look of late 20th century costume jewelry is again all the rage.
