This vintage set consists of a long necklace of Murano cased (or sommerso) glass beads in brilliant cobalt and aventurine goldstone under crystal and large clip Murano glass earrings with aventurine inlay. The necklace is 33 ˝" long and alternates 12mm beads with gold-plated novelty lozenge links. The beads are clear crystal over a core of striking blue swirled with goldstone flakes. The necklace has a screw-barrel clasp which allows you to wear it wrapped twice around your neckline.
The earrings are an impressive 7/8" in diameter and have clip backs; the uprights are stamped "Marvella." There is slight darkening to the back plates of the earrings. Goldstone has a warm and hypnotic glitter effect which flatters all complexions. The set is in wonderful condition.
