This magnificent Victorian style brooch is a mass of Lily of the Valley flowers domed over a base edged in arcs and flourishes--the look is total exuberance! The silver-plated design is 2 ½" in diameter and ¾" deep. The blossoms, leaves, and stems are cast in an open style so the geometric pattern of the circular base shows through.
The pin has a patent number on it (2066969) and closes with a safety clasp. There is a small etched number on the back too, probably from a jeweler. This fabulous, flowery brooch is in wonderful condition and would make a very striking pendant too.
