This vintage deep butterscotch yellow Bakelite bangle is inset with five gold-plated brass cross-stitch ornaments or appliqués in the form of rounded "Xs" which look like they are going through grommets in the surface. The bangle is just under ½" wide, 3/16" thick, and has an inner opening of a little more than 2 ½".
The material tests extremely positive as Bakelite. The surface is glossy inside and out and all the X appliqués have a bright golden finish; the bangle has no cracks or scratches. Glam your vintage Bakelite collection via some golden threads with this novelty "stitched" bangle.
