This mid-century sterling silver Taxco, Mexico pin was made by J. Flores and has very fine guilloche’ enameling on the stylized florals and leaves of the squared wreath design.
The Pin is 1 ˝" wide and high and has an open center and naturalistic border formed by the sky blue flower petals (centers are lime green) and the turquoise green/blue leaves. The enamels are translucent and allow the engraved patterns of the silver ground to show through.
The back is stamped with a conjoined JF, the mark of J. Flores of Taxco, and the eagle 3 assay stamp. There is also a "925" mark and "Sterling Hecho en Mexico" circle stamp. The condition is superb with patina as found.
