This striking cast sterling piece was designed by Kultaseppa Salovaara Ky and rendered in two tones to contrast the smooth rose-gold finish if the doves against the brushed-textured-back of the Modernist elliptical pendant.
The pendant measures ¾" high and ¾" wide (not including the bale). It hangs from a 16 ½" long sterling box-link chain stamped "925S" on the connecting ring and "925" on the clasp.
The pendant is identified only on the bale, I believe this is because the back was made to be displayed as well. The condition is very fine, you may wish to polish the brushed-finish back to a uniform hue if you display it.
Kultaseppa Salovaara Ky is a Finnish company known for distinctive and understated sterling jewelry popular in the second half of the 20th century during the height of the Scandinavian Modern Movement.
