These lush pink orchids are actually hand-crafted of leather and artificial stamens. Each is about 3 ˝" high, 3 1/8" wide, and 1" deep (one rises a little higher; after arrival, you may wish to curl and primp them bit). The petals of the flowers are scalloped and folded into the center to create the blossoms which lay on serrated and smooth lime green leather leaves.
These may have been designed as shoe clips but there’s no reason you can’t use them creatively on lapels or collars in the 1940’s style. Each "Pat. Pending" clip is 1" across with 3 tiny teeth on the underside; the spring mechanisms grip firmly. One would even make a fun pendant or a hat ornament, scarf holder—be as creative as the artist who made these enduring orchids!
