These darling hand-made KOKESHI Doll wood earrings are hand painted and have heads that actually turn--plus, they have a different pattern on their kimono or happy coat, front to back!
Each doll is 1 1/2" and 5/8" wide. The bodies are natural wood tone and the boys have green outfits, girls have red.
The boys have short black hair and white flowers with pink centers on one half of their tops. The obi sash is brown with yellow cross-hatch; blue flowers floati in the background.
The girls have red coats with white and blue flowers; their obi sashes are blue with black, red, and pink accents and small lilac/red flowers float in the background. They have caps that are half red, half black and more detail in the eyes and hair.
The earrings are new/old stock from the 1950s and have never been worn. They came with screw-on findings which are rather odd as they bump the heads so I suggest the silver-tone kidney wire--but I leave that to you.
When you order, specify: boy or girl, AND what pierced or screw findings. We have several pair in each color/gender.
(These are a special purchase item so they do not qualify for current store sale.)
