Vintage TONIC REMEDY MEDICINE TIN A 2 5/8"w x 2" old tin from phosphorated iron tonic tablets. The tin has some crackling in the paint on frontside, and some paint wear mainly on the edges. One pencil-point size dimple on front near edge. No tablets are in tin, it contains an old salve instead.

Vintage GINO KIDNEY PILLS - Box and Tin A great addition to a medical tins collection! This set is complete with it's outer wooden container, an inside tin containing the old pills, and a pink flyer insert that describes the product. Wooden container has applied paper labels and is 2 1/4" diameter x 1 5/8" high.
GINO PILLS were "..a Kidney and Bladder medicine exclusively, intended to aid in the restoration of those organs to the performance of their natural functions, and to so tone and strengthen them as to make them less liable to get out of order".

Vintage STIEFEL'S FRECKLE SOAP Tin An early litho. tin complete with bar of soap contents and flyer insert. The medicinal soap was advertised to remove freckles in a few days, as well as clear up unsightly tan and blemishes on the face and body. Tin is hinged lid style, and measures 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1" high. Soap still retains it's not too pleasant odor.

Condition: No damage to tin, hinged-lid works well. Still retains it's original luster. Gold color is worn-off on sides of tin. Paper wrapper around soap has some small tears and a small edge section on front of paper is missing.
