Pewter Medal - AMERICA'S FIRST MEDALS Series - #3 Issued by the U.S. Mint in 1973. This medal is the third of a series issued to commemorate the battles of the American Revolutionary War.

This medal honors General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, as a reproduction of the original medal issued to him for the assault on Stony Point on the Hudson River in 1779.

Uncirculated condition, made of pewter, 1 1/2" diameter. Original plastic outer case in included, as well as fold-out paper flyer in case explaining Wayne and the Battle of Stony Point. Flyer has some yellowing on the cover page.

Pewter Medal - AMERICA'S FIRST MEDALS Series - #4 Issued by the U.S. Mint in 1973. This medal is the fourth of a series issued to commemorate the battles of the American Revolutionary War.

This medal honors Colonel Francois Louis Teisseidre de Fleury as a reproduction of the original medal issued to him for his part on the assault on Stony Point on the Hudson River in 1779. De Fleury was the only foreigner to whom a medal was issued during the Revolution.

Uncirculated condition, made of pewter, 1 1/2" diameter. Original plastic outer case in included, as well as fold-out paper flyer in case explaining de Fleury and the Battle of Stony Point. Flyer has some yellowing on the cover page.

1976 American Revolution Bicentennial Medal - Jefferson Issued by the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission. Medal is uncirculated condition, bronze, and encased in a plastic holder. Medal is 1 1/2" diameter. Outer plastic case and descriptive flyer insert are included. Light yellowing spots to flyer.

Medal depicts Thomas Jefferson on the obverse, and the reverse side depicts the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

1964 Worlds Fair BRONZE MEDALLION - Vatican Pavillion Larger size commemorative table medal produced by Medallic Art Co. for the New York World's Fair. 2 popes and the Fairs Vatican Pavillion are pictured, reverse depicts the Pieta by Michelangelo. Size is 2 1/2" diameter.

Medallic Art Co. is billed as "America’s oldest and largest private mint" and has produced awards such as the Pulitzer Prize, and Peabody Awards.

Condition: Medal has been in storage since it's purchase at the Worlds Fair and is complete with outer box and small metal stand to display medallion. All in excellent condition.

NASA Apollo Soyuz Space Mission Medal in Pewter A 1 3/16" high-relief pewter commemorative medal. Coin commemorates the July 15, 1975 launch of the first international manned space mission. The Apollo Soyuz test project was the final flight of the Apollo program.

The medals were struck for NASA by the L. G. Balfour Company of Massachusetts. These medals were made for distribution to NASA and space industry employees that worked on the missions. The designs were taken from sketches and photographs approved by NASA artist and technicians associated with each mission. Medals were struck in both sterling silver and pewter for the various Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions.

Medal is in mint condition, and it's original plastic case is included. L.G. Balfour is impressed into the plastic on backside of case. Backside of medal depicts same graphic, with all wording in Russian.
