Compact works well, no damage. Some very, very light scratches to top, and a speck of silvering loss on the very edge of the mirror.

Vintage LA MAY COMPACT for Loose Powder Domed lid metal face powder compact with framed mirror. Case is signed La May (L'Ame). 2" diameter. Center insert lifts out to fill with powder. Side of case is stamped German Silver; which is a metal alloy of copper/nickel giving a silvery appearance. Described as a "German Silver Watch Case Vanity" per ad of the era. No puff included.

Condition: Excellent exterior, no damage, clasp works well. Interior insert has several very small spots of roughness where the silvery color has worn. Mirror has no clouding or flaws.

Condition: No damage to mirror or compact, hinge and closure work well. Fair+ condition due to finish-wear at front outer edges and backside.

Vintage HOUBIGANT Compact Vanity Case Pressed powder, rouge and lipstick compartments in an Art Moderne metal case. Size is 3 1/4" x 2". Case is signed HOUBIGANT.

Condition: No damage to case or mirror, hinge works well. The outside of the case shows allover light scratching from use, no spots or darkening. The mirror shows a thin band of darkening that runs the length/width of the mirror next to the mirror-frame.

Condition: Front closure works well, no damage to compact, light finish wear mainly on backside. Couple flecks of discoloration on mirror. Leftmost powder lid is stuck shut.
