Old sample size tin at 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". Back-hinge style. Contained 18 bile salts and taurocol tablets to promote the flow of bile to cure "hepatic insufficiency, intestinal putrefaction, habitual constipation & gall stones". Tin is dark blue and cream in color. No contents remains. Manufactured by The Paul Plessner Company of Detroit.
Condition: Excellent display condition with no damage and full-gloss finish. Small flakes of missing paint at edges.
