Morgans were minted as .900 silver, or .77344 oz. pure silver. U-grade as to condition, my non-expert grade on this coin is Fine (F12). The reverse side has a number of long thin scratches to the surface that are shallow. The scratches on the actual coin are less obvious than in the pic., as the pic. has been darkened a tad to better show the coin details.
Mintage of the 1899 O was 12,290,000.
