This is a Hull Pottery Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar. It is the real thing, not Regal or a repro. It is stamped on the bottom 967 Hull Ware Little Red Riding Hood Patent Applied For USA. She has the open basket, transfer decorated flowers and gold trim, and atypical purplish rouge on the cheeks. Twelve and 3/4 inches tall.
This has been a much loved and used jar. There are 2 small areas of missing paint on the bottom of the lid. Two hairline cracks on the top of the body where the lid sets. Large areas of crazing on the inside. However, there are no chips. Free shipping in the continental US. |
