Wood and Son Covered Server Milan Transferware
Wonderful antique Covered Vegetable Server made by Wood and Son, England, in the Milan pattern. Flow blue and gold transferware pattern has an ornate floral design. Double handles and ornate lid finial are all in excellent condition with very little gold loss. Beautiful! Only flaw I can find is a 1/8 in indent on the underside of the lid (pictured) that may have been done during the firing process and there are a couple of minor stains on the inside of the piece from use. Measures 12 X 7.25 X 6. Mark dates this to 1891-1907.
