Gorgeous porcelain plate made by the FUKAGAWA CHINA COMPANY, the official purveyor of china to the Japanese imperial household. It measures 6 in.

| in diameter and has a raised base 3 1/4 in. in diameter. It has an ephemeral flower decoration with gold highlights and rim and is a great display piece. It is in excellent condition with with no chips cracks or blemishes. the bottom is marked "Fuka gawa sei" - Made by Fukagawa. This mark was in use around the late Meiji to early Taisho period ca 1895-1925. Please check out the pictures, as they accurately represent the condition.
