This charming Ming Dynasty (Yongle 1403-23) jade carving comes directly from China. It was carved from a single large piece of translucent jade and measures approximately 11 by 6 by 2 inches. It features a young boy with an ecstatic smile on his face riding on the back of a dragon. I'm told this signifies good luck. The carving is fantastic with both the boy and the dragon having great character. It is in perfect condition.
