This fantastic little cloisonne bowl also contains two individual works of art done in miniature "Chinese enamel" painting. The bowl is 5 inches across and 2.5 inches high and is decorated with two medallions, each containing a detailed miniature painting. One shows two birds sitting on the branch of a flowering tree, and the other is a river scene with four people in boat. The painting is in the style of old Chinese watercolours. I have never seen another like it. It is estimated to be 1920's. Please check out the pictures, as they accurately represent the condition.
