Here is a nice set of Japanese foochin from the 1950's in excellent condition. Foochin or scroll weights are a decorative and practical addition to any hanging scroll. Hooked around the roller ends, they help keep the scroll hanging straight and stop it form moving around in the breeze. This pair is made of a jade green stone and have deep green coloured threads and tassels. The weights are 1.5 inches across, the tassels are 5 inches long and the total length is 10 inches.
