This lovely piece is part of a collection we obtained from a collector in England, believed to be ca 1920's. This good sized piece measures 5.75 inches across and is 1.75 inches tall. The outside is decorated with a pair of yellow dragons chasing the flaming pearl. What makes this piece so unusual is the dragon decoration inside the bowl. Often the inside of these bowls is simply decorated with a single colour, where this has a fantastically rendered dragon and pearl. It is all executed on a black ground with fine wire cloisonne cloud motif. It is in excellent condition. Please check out the pictures, as they accurately represent the condition.
