Metlox Vernon Ware “Gigi” Sugar & Creamer
Covered sugar bowl and creamer, Vernon Ware by Metlox in the Gigi design. Country French look, cream color background, blue trim, yellow and blue flowers. Has green leaves and a funny red, round thing that looks like a cross between a strawberry and a radish. Sugar bowl is 3" high, 5" with lid, 3" top, 2½" bottom and has # 1279 stamped on bottom. Creamer is 2¾" high, 3" across, 6" from handle to spout, and has # 4-81 stamped on bottom. Creamer is in perfect condition, no cracks, chips or breaks. The sugar bowl has V shaped hairline crack on lid. It’s very hard to see and I can’t get it to show up in picture. (Also have matching cups listed.) This pattern was discontinued in 1986

Metlox Vernon Ware “Gigi” “6 Cups (Flat)
I believe these are called "flat" cups; they are the ones that come with a place setting. There are six of them in the "Gigi" design. Vernon Ware by Metlox # 1279 stamped on bottom. They have a Country French look, cream color background, blue trim, yellow and blue flowers. They have green leaves and a funny red, round thing that looks like a cross between a strawberry and a radish. Each is 2 ½" high, and 3 ½" across top. There is no damage on any of them that I can find, except two of them have a darker spot inside on bottom of cup, where glaze puddled a little when it was fired. It’s hard to see unless you tilt the cup at an angle. This pattern was discontinued in 1986.
