Folk Art Handpainted Round Storage or Pantry Box
This is a vintage Shaker style storage or pantry round box with handpainted decorations, which include birds, flowers, a Dutch boy and girl and greenery. It measures 5-1/2 inches tall and 11-1/4 inches wide. I'm not good at identifying woods so will not try. It is in excellent condition except for a small section at the end of rolled construction that needs to be glued or stapled...it's a small repair and will leave it to the buyer.

Lane Cedar Chest ~ Vanity Jewelry Trinket Box ~ Vintage
This is an advertising promotional item from the Lane Cedar Chest Company in Altavista, Virginia. It was presented many years ago to customers by the Ries Furniture Company, South Bend, Indiana when they bought furniture in their store. It is made of cedar wood and has a lock on it, (but the key is missing).
