This is a gem of a find for the Holly Hobbie collector. The maker certainly put a lot of time and great craftmanship into this handmade wooden handbag (purse). It has a plastic (Bakelite?) handle and absolutely delightful children cut-outs (Holly Hobbie and her friends) which are lacquered in place all over the item. The inside is felt-lined.
