Blue Hand Painted Ransburg / Uhl ? Pottery Salad Bowl Large Vintage Blue Salad Bowl Decoratively Hand Painted by Ransburg. Has the original Ransburg sticker on the bottom of the bowl. This is a large, heavy salad bowl most likely made by UHL Pottery. I've misplaced my book on UHL Pottery, but the Huntingburg Library website shows company catalog pages. An identical salad bowl is pictured on page 15. These were made in 7-in., 9-in., and 11-in. sizes, in colors of blue and pink with white glazed interior. This salad bowl is blue with white glazed interior and measures 11 1/8'' in diameter and 4 1/2'' tall. It is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. The interior bottom shows three visible stilt marks. There is light age crazing and a small, light clay separation on the top inside which looks like a spot of crazing but its not. The color is very good with very few spots missing (mostly on the bottom feet) but does need a light cleaning. This is a bright, colorfully decorated and hard to find Ransburg / UHL Pottery salad bowl.

Uhl Pottery Stoneware 3 Pint Keg Uhl Pottery Stoneware 3 Pint Keg only. This keg was part of a set including a wooden stand and either depression or matching stoneware glasses. The BV for the set is $250-300. Jhl did not mark these pieces but there is a very good picture in the Feldmeyer/Holtzman book of Uhl Pottery on page 35. This keg has part of the wooden spigot still, although the top section is missing. Needs a little cleaning. This Uhl Pottery Stoneware Keg is in very good condition.

Uhl Pottery Stoneware Churn with Bail Handles Uhl Pottery's Stoneware 3 Gallon Churn with Bail Handles. This churn has the #3 and the blue Huntington, Indiana Acorn Stamp. This particular churn is pictured in Anna Mary Feldmeyer's book of Uhl Pottery, page 40. Please see all the pictures. There are some chips on the cover and a couple on the inner rim--common with these old stoneware pieces since they were used daily, age crazing and usual manufacturing flaws. Due to the scarcity of these old UHL stoneware churns I would rate the condition as very good. Nice collectible for antique stoneware or UHL pottery lovers.

Vintage UHL Pottery Stoneware Keg Set with Glasses Vintage UHL Pottery Stoneware 3 Pint Keg Set with Clear Crystal Depression Glasses on Wooden Stand. The only marks are an in mold USA on the keg. These keg sets are pictured in the Feldmeyer & Holtzman book of UHL Pottery, 2001 ed., page 35, (bv $250-300) and noted as unmarked. The keg has intact wooden spout taps. The only damage noted, is some drying and splitting of the wooden stand. That's not bad at all considering the age of this keg set. While we sometimes find the stoneware kegs, the complete set is much more difficult to find.

Antique Uhl Pottery Acorn Wares Stoneware Crock Antique Uhl Pottery Stoneware Crock marked with the blue Acorn Wares, Uhl Pottery Co., Huntingburg, Indiana logo. Crock measures 7 3/4'' tall and 7 1/2'' in diameter. Crock has been used and has a spider hairline in the bottom, and a hairline encircling most of the bottom 1'' as well a chipped area on the top rim--please see all the pictures. These old UHL stoneware pieces are hard to find and flaws are all too common. Price reduced to reflect condition.

Hull? or Uhl? Pottery Modern Elephant Planter Adorable Modern Elephant Planter in white with pink and red cold paint details. The books of Uhl Pottery (2005 BV 110-135.00) and Hull Pottery (BV 75-100.00) both show almost identical pictures of this unusual, modern style of elephant planter. I believe it is most likely a Hull Pottery item. It is unmarked except for the number 29 in red crayon on the foot which was likely the original price. It measures approximately 5 1/4'' tall and 5 1/2'' wide, trunk to tail. It is in very good condition (no chips, cracks or crazing) with just a little wear to the cold paint of the elephant's ears. Hull or Uhl, this is a great little planter.

Blue Hand Painted Ransburg / UHL Globe Pitcher Vintage Blue Pitcher Decoratively Hand Painted with multi-colored flowers by Ransburg. Has an incised Ransburg on the bottom, but Ransburg only did the decorative painting. Measures 6'' tall and 7 3/4'' spout to handle with three wedge-like feet on the bottom. I believe this pitcher was made by UHL Pottery (they made those items I noted) due to the weight, shape and blue color with white interior glazing. This style Globe pitcher is pictured (in the latest book of UHL Pottery) with Ransburg decorations. There is slight flaking on the blue base color but the thick, textured hand painted flowers are intact which is unusual for these cold painted items. You could touch-up the blue color if you wish, but this hard to find pitcher looks great as found.
