Vintage Hand Crafted Curled Pine Straw Basket Bowl Vintage Hand Crafted Long Leaf Pine Straw Basket or Bowl twisted, curled and stitched into a free-form decorative shape. This can be used with flowers casually placed along the center line, with other natural materials for a one of a kind display, or by itself as a great conversation piece. It measures approximately 17'' long and 3 1/2'' tall. The origin is unknown. I've never seen a pine straw basket or bowl quite like this. There is a smaller version also listed which was purchased at the same time. It took a high degree of artistic skill to shape and stitch this basket together.  

Russian ? Hand Painted Wood Egg This is a lovely handpainted wooden egg, probably from Russia or the Ukraine. They still create these charming wooden eggs but I believe this is an older one. There are three panels, one depicting Mary and Baby Jesus at His Birth, an older Mary and Jesus and then the Crucifixion. Measures 3 3/4'' in height. Originally this would have had a small holder which is missing. This would be a lovely addition to an existing collection or a great way to start one.  

Vintage Cherokee Indian Native American Wood Totem Vintage Native American Wood Totem made by the Cherokee Indians of Cherokee, North Carolina. Measures 12 1/2'' tall. The wood is rough cut and and coloring is quite primitive. Has the original Cherokees paper label on the backside.  

USSR Folk Art Decorated Wood Dipper Nice older hand painted Wood Dipper decorated in red, gold and green folk art style. Has the Made in USSR paper label around the handle. Measures 11'' long and 4'' wide. There is a little darker area on the inside (may be old sticker residue), but otherwise very good condition. Very colorful!  

Metal Romanian ? Bell Metal Bell with faded red paint, relief design and clay clapper on burlap/hemp cord. The previous owner, another antiques dealer, says this was a Romanian bell. It is unmarked, so I cannot say for sure. Bell is 5'' tall. There is some minor flaking to the color which adds to the rustic appearance.  

Vintage Handmade Folk Art Southwestern Hand Mirror Very unusual, colorful vintage handmade Folk Art Southwestern or Mexican Style Hand Mirror. This is likely a one-of-a-kind mirror hand made by the original owner. Quite a bit of time went into its making. It is handpainted in yellow, white and browns with thin, decorative rope-like trim decoratively placed on a layered design topped with a yellow glass decorative stone. There is a little wear present -- a small chip of paint off the top edge (could be re-touched if you wish) on both sides and a little darkening (don't think it was original to the design) around the rope/glass (may come off, but didn't want to clean to hard) and the mirror is showing its age a little. Please view all the pictures to see the detail. This is a wonderful piece for mirror collectors or Southwestern / Mexican folk art collectors.  

Old Wood Lap Table Top Writing Desk with Painted Eagle Vintage Wooden Lap or Table Top Writing Desk with Eagle and USA Flag Shield Painted Decoration on the top. Measures 13 1/2'' long, 11 1/8'' wide and 3 1/4'' tall. The old, rustic red shows some wear, slight paint rubs, and a small chipping on the back corner (see pictures). The corners are mitered and joined with small wood tendons (the pictures don't show them very well). Actually it's in quite good condition and a very charming old wooden desk.  

Large Round Paper Mache Red and Gold Tray Large 15'' Round Paper Mache? or wood composition Tray with Scalloped Edges decorated in Antiqued Red and Gold colors. Unmarked, but very similar to other Florentine, Italy trays we've had. Russian or Ukrainian folk art is also possible due to the design. Regardless, this tray is quite decorative and would look great hung on the wall. There are a couple of tiny paint flakes which are not noticeable due to the antiqued appearance.
