Vintage Ornate England Shallow Serving Bowl or Pie Dish Vintage Shallow Bowl or Pie Dish with sculpted edges, scroll and shell embossing, gold accent trim and a floral pattern in the center. Bowl measures 9 1/2'' in diameter and 1 1/2'' tall. Stamped on backside (I cannot decipher all of the mark) &E. COR N, England, Porcelain Royale, Enterprise. There is a teeny glaze pop on the outer rim (hard to see because of the design) and a few tiny dark specks under the glaze, actually pretty good vintage condition. Use this beautiful, shallow bowl or pie dish at your next party or afternoon tea.

John Maddock Covered Sugar Bowl John Maddock & Sons Covered Sugar Bowl with side handles. I've not been able to locate a pattern name for this piece. It has a white body, gold trim and green and rust floral bands. It is marked with a stamped John Maddock & Sons, England, Royal Vitreous and possibly a letter P. There are no chips or cracks, but there is faint age crazing, slight wear to the gold on the handles from use and a small spot where the glaze has darkened slightly on the lid. All in all, this sugar bowl has aged very gracefully.

Allertons Stockholm Blue and White Bowl Allertons Ltd. Blue and White Serving Bowl in the Stockholm Pattern. Measures 8 3/8'' long, 6 1/2'' wide and 2'' deep. Has the blue stamped Allertons Ltd, England, Stockholm, Made in England logo, incised 7, number 9 stamped and an incised mark which we're not sure of. A little darkening around the stilt marks on the interior, but no chips, cracks or hairlines. This is a nice addition to a vintage English blue and white collection or replacement for this pattern. There is just a hint of flow to the blue coloring, not surprising since Allerton made Flow Blue China.

Vintage Royal Firenze Rose Pattern Platter Vintage Royal Firenze (Royal Worchester?) Platter in delicate, lacey rose patterns, gold scrolls over an embossed, and flowing, sculpted border. Measures 13'' long and 9 3/4'' wide. This is truly beautiful platter with no chips, cracks or crazing. It does have a couple of teeny dark specks on the glaze due to age. This is a wonderful platter to display in any rose covered cottage.

Meakin Audobon Society Birds Carolina Turtle Dove Plate Alfred Meakin's National Audobon Society Birds of America Plate #17 Carolina Turtle Dove. The plate measures 10 7/8'' in diameter. Has the Alfred Meakin England stamped logo. Marked also Reproduced from the Elephant Folio Edition of Audobon's Birds of America, Endorsed by National Audobon Society, New York. The pictures did not turn out well, but this plate has no chips, cracks or discoloration. There is the usual age related clear crackling to the glaze and two tiny clear circular spots on the glaze (not sure if they are manufacturing boos)--which you have to strain to even see. If you collect this series of Audobon Plates, you will want to add this Carolina Turtle Dove Plate to your collection.

Royal Winton Blue Canada Plate Pretty Royal Winton Canada Plate done in a delicately spattered blue effect with gold trim and multi-colored Canadian emblem. Marked Royal Winton, Grimwades, Made in England and artist initials on backside. Very good condition.

Brown Sadler English Two-Cup Teapot Small Two-Cup Teapot made by Sadler. Rich, chocolate brown color with textured, leather-like accent around body of teapot. Marked with the Sadler, Made in England stamp. No chips, cracks, etc. from use. There is a small dimple in glaze from manufacturing above the textured area. A nice addition to your Sadler teapot collection.

Hanley Staffordshire Nova Scotia Cup and Saucer Sandland Hanley Staffordshire Cup and Saucer Set depicting the Shield and Map of Nova Scotia Canada. Marked Sandland, Hanley Staffordshire, Made in England and signed with artists initials in gold. There is gentle age crazing and one dark pinpoint sized dark speck under the glaze. A very nice cup and saucer set.

Royal Crown Chintz Pattern Footed Mug Royal Crown Chintz Patterned footed Chocolate Mug or Cup. Pink chintz pattern roses with blue accent flowers and gold trim. Has stamped Royal Crown 1204 on base and measures 5 1/2'' tall. I'm not sure of the age of these mugs. Very good condition and perfect for the romantic cottage decor.

Johnson Brothers Friendly Village Coaster Johnson Brothers Old Mill Coaster from their Friendly Village line. Measures 4 1/4'' in diameter and is marked with the green Johnson Bros, Made in England logo and initials. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Old Mulberry ? China Vegetable Bowl with Cottage Decal This Vegetable Bowl is made in the style of the old flow blue pieces of the English and American potters during the 1800s. Some of the English companies also made a Mulberry version which is described as the color of crushed Mulberries -- purple, sometimes very dark. The colors of this bowl are a dark pink/purple that have the flowing/bleeding effect under the glaze. There is an embossed fan-like pattern, gold floral trim and a center English cottage scene. There are many similar designs but the colors on this unmarked bowl are different, making it hard to identify. There is some of the expected darkening and crazing from age on the interior and a small flake on the underside of the rim. The minor defects do add to the romantic charm of this old bowl. bowl measures 10 1/2'' in diameter and 3'' tall.

Hanley Porcelain White & Pink Majolica Cup and Saucer This White & Pink Majolica Cup and Saucer Set was made by the Hanley Porcelain Company of Hanley, England,--one of the old Stoke-on-Trent Pottery Companies, Staffordshire. Since they were only in business from 1892-1895, it does help to date this set. We are calling this set Majolica because of the design (and this area of England made made lots of it during this time frame), but it has a thinner, delicate, more translucent (when held to the light) porcelain body. The white (Albino?) body is sculpted in a leaf-like pattern with a bright pink twig handle design and accentuated with gold trim. These pieces were difficult to research, and frankly, we could not locate any items similar. We do consider this Hanley Porcelain Cup and Saucer set quite unique. All pieces are backstamped with the Hanley Porcelain Co., England logo. These pieces have no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some slight wear on the gold trim, a couple of dark specks under the glaze--from manufacture, not age. The glaze remains shiny. Hanley Porcelain Pink & White Majolica Creamer This White & Pink Majolica Creamer was made by the Hanley Porcelain Company of Hanley, England,--one of the old Stoke-on-Trent Pottery Companies, Staffordshire. Since they were only in business from 1892-1895, it does help to date this creamer. We are calling this piece Majolica because of the design (and this area of England made made lots of it during this time frame), but it has a thinner, delicate, more translucent (when held to the light) porcelain body. Salisbury Bone China Hand Painted Roses Cup and Saucer Salisbury Bone China Hand Painted Cup and Saucer Set with a pink and green floral rose design beneath the gold trimmed, ruffled rim. Cup measures 2 1/2'' tall with a 3 1/2'' top diameter. Saucer measures 5 1/2'' in diameter. The bottom is marked Salisbury Bone China, Made in England, and has the artists initials. This is a delicately beautiful, lacey cup and saucer set for one who loves English china.

Enoch Wedgwood Tunstall Gold Medallion Sugar Bowl Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd. Covered Sugar Bowl in the Gold Medallion Pattern. The color is more of an avocado green/gold on a white body. Measures 4 3/8'' tall with cover in place and 5 7/8'' wide handle to handle. There is just the faintest clear crackle to the glaze which most of these pieces have. No chips, cracks or dark crazing.
