No chips, cracks or crazing. The satiny finished, handpainted colors of the flowers are exquisitely done. Beautiful displayed.

Jean Pouyat Limoges Gilded Bowl Jean Pouyat Limoges Three-Footed Large Bowl decorated with hand painted design and wide gold gilding, circa 1910. The overall appearance is quite similar to Nippon porcelain with the colors of gold, blue/green and rose and the shiny luster interior. Bowl measures 9 1/4'' in diameter and 3 1/8'' tall. The base has a faint J.P.L. France mark under glaze (hard to see because of the dark blue/green or teal color that covers it). There may be other marks but we cannot see them. The mark is the Jean Pouyat Limoges mark used from 1891-1932. The company made beautiful hand decorated Limoges porcelain which were painted by professional artists, but also made blanks which were sold to china decorators--very popular at that time. The decoration is lovely, but less than perfect which makes us believe it was not professionally decorated but one of the china blanks. There is slight yellowing on the interior and a little color rubbing on the exterior which just adds to the antique appearance.

Vintage Limoges Oval Platter Vintage Limoges Oval Platter with Handles. Green floral, scroll-like pattern and gold trim. Measures 15'' long (including handles) and 9 3/4'' wide. Marked CH Field Haviland Limoges, GOA France. The gold trim is quite worn (could be removed) but otherwise this platter is in very good condition. This is an attractive platter and should be used.
