Vintage Globe China Shaving Mug Vintage, actually Antique, Globe China Shaving Mug. Globe China was only in business in East Liverpool, OH from 1881 until 1912 so this Shaving Mug is quite old. It was likely part of a Victorian Toilet Set which included a Chamber Pot as well as a Covered Soap Dish and Bowl and Pitcher Set. It stands 3 3/4'' tall, 4'' in diameter and 4 3/4'' wide including handle. This shaving mug is white with turquoise shading and embossed floral pattern encircling the upper and lower sections. It is marked with the Globe China logo (hard to read) used from 1888 until 1912 and XXP initials. There is a small paint rub on the bottom rim and what appears to be a small cut into the upper section--it actually looks like a fingernail that cut into the clay--visible on the outside only--see photo 2. Overall very good condition for it's age and original use.  

Royal Sealy Three-Piece Console or Vanity Set Beautiful Three-Piece Royal Sealy Console or Vanity Set. Very ornate embossed decorations of dancing figures on a pale, silvery grey background with wide gold accents in an antiqued finish. Bowl has the Royal Sealy label, the covered box and tray have Japan labels. There is a small spot on the inner rim of the bowl that feels a little rough, but due to the ornate nature of the piece its not visible. There are some spots of the gold that may or may not have rubbed off, but again, it may be part of the original antiqued design. This is a beautiful 3-piece Console or Vanity Set.  

Vintage Covered Soap Dish and Shaving Mug Vanity Set Vintage Covered Soap Dish and Shaving Mug Vanity or Bath Set in pretty floral violets pattern with gold trim. Marked Semi-Porcelain, bow and arrow logo (no manufacturer name) and artists initials. While the complete mark is not visible I was able to locate a matching piece to this set in an antique mall. It is marked as above with the KTAK initials for Knowles, Taylor & Knowles legible. The company started in 1853 as Knowles and Harvey, changing to Knowles, Taylor & Knowles in 1872 and used until 1929 when they were purchased by the American China Company. Very good vintage condition with pinpoint black speck on the underside of the cover, gentle all-over age crazing and a small area where the lines have darkened (see pics) but glaze is smooth and intact. Knowles, Taylor and Knowles and many of the old china companies others made these pieces as part of the bedroom / bathroom chamber sets during the turn of the last century. Not surprisingly, few pieces of these sets survived intact. This pretty soap dish and shaving mug set is perfect for the Victorian or Cottage decor.  

Estee Lauder ''Lucky Coin'' Solid Perfume Compact Estee Lauder ''Lucky Coin'' Solid Perfume Compact from 1979. This compact is silver finished with the gold coin inset depicting the Empress Victoria. Marked inside with the Estee Lauder logo. There is no perfume remaining but the scent remains. The 2002 BV for this Estee Lauder solid perfume compact was $100-125.  

Estee Lauder ''Jewelers Enamel'' Solid Perfume Compact Estee Lauder ''Jewelers Enamel'' Solid Perfume Compact from 1981. This oblong compact comes in a silvertone finish with inset dark blue marbelized enamel. It originally contained the ''Youth Dew'' fragrance. No perfume remains but the scent lingers when it is opened. The silver label on the backside is partially worn away. It is marked with the Estee Lauder logo inside. There are a couple of teeny, superficial scratches on the backside noticeable when held to the light. This is a very nice addition to a solid perfume collection. It was difficult to photograph. There are some light flashes that change the silver color, so the pictures do not do it justice. The 2002 BV for this compact is $100-125.  

Japan Porcelain Cherub Ring Holder White Porcelain Ring Holder displays a Cherub sitting on a Seashell playing a flute, accented with gold and pink roses. I believe this to be a ring or pin holder as there is a space behind the cerub to hide a few small items. The seashell stands on three small feet and is marked on the bottom with a red JAPAN stamp. Measures 3 1/2'' wide and 2 3/4'' tall. I have looked him over several times, and am not sure if there is a flake missing on the right side of the pink rose. It may be the design and it does not detract from this cute little guy.  

Vintage Vinyl Coated Paisley Jewelry Box Funky vintage vinyl coated paisley patterned Jewelry Box from the 1960s era. The colors are blends of ivory, green, gold with the floral and scroll patterns outlined in black. The interior drawers are lined in a gold crushed velvet. Measures 12 1/2'' long, 5'' tall and 8 1/2'' wide. There are two pull-out drawers and the top lifts to display large divided storage spaces. There is very slight soiling on the interior lining, two spots where the lining has worn on one drawer interior and some wear to the pad on the base. The exterior appears in good shape. If there are any flaws (I don't see any), the paisley pattern conceals them because of the blend of the colors. The vinyl impregnated material is washable and extremely durable. There is lots of storage space in this unique jewelry box.  

Cali Crown Pottery Covered Cigarette or Dresser Box This Covered Cigarette or Dresser Box was made by Cali Crown Pottery, another of the California pottery companies. This style of cigarette or candy box was quite popular in the 1940s and 1950s. It is in a dark, forest green with an intricately detailed rose applied to the cover. It is marked Cali Crown USA 800. They are prone to chips because of the thin and delicate nature of the applied decorations. The only flaw I see is the underside of one petal has been nipped. You could touch it up if you wish, but it's on the underside of the petal and not that noticeable. This pretty box was originally designed to hold cigarettes (or emergency chocolates) but also is useful as a pin or dresser box.  

Vintage Crystal Perfume Bottle with Brass Top Vintage Crystal Perfume Bottle with Brass Top and glass stopper insert. We believe this unmarked perfume bottle with paneled sides was made in the 1920s-1930s era. It appears to be mold blown with a polished pontil on the base. It measures 4 1/8'' tall and 1 1/4'' in diameter. There is a tiny fleabite on the inner rim (can't see with lid on) and a small dimple on the brass top--not bad for a vintage bottle. The old perfume bottles were not originally made specifically for any one fragrance or perfume company. They were bought, filled and re-filled with the ladies favorite scent. We have not cleaned the inside, so Grandmother's original scent lingers. You could, of course, replace it with your own.  

Estee Lauder Capricorn Lucidity Powder Compact Collectible Estee Lauder Capricorn Lucidity Powder Compact. This is part of Estee Lauder's Zodiac Collection designed by the world-renown artist Erte. Comes in original box with a navy velvet bag. This is the 06 Translucent powder. Compact measures 2 3/4'' long and 2 1/8'' wide. This wonderful collectible deco style compact is in excellent condition (the pictures show some glare--black is hard to photograph). The gold presentation box shows some wear.  

Vintage Frosted Pink Perfume Bottle with Atomizer Vintage Frosted Pink Perfume Bottle with Atomizer. Unmarked. Measures approximately 5'' tall. Atomizer functions properly but the bulb shows age/use discoloration. Bottle free of chips, cracks, etc. This is an older bottle likely 1950s-1960s era. Lingering scent remains.  

Goldtone Beveled Glass Jewelry Box Case Lovely Vintage Goldtone Gilt Lacey Filigree Openwork Oval Jewelry Box or Jewelry Case with Beveled Glass top. Has yellow velveteen lining that has a touch of faint discoloration. The goldtone metal frame with 4 small feet is in excellent condition. It measures 6'' long, 4 1/2'' wide and 2 1/4'' tall. This estate sale find is delicately feminine and is just waiting to hold your treasures.  

Vintage Hobnail Perfume Bottle with Atomizer Vintage Crystal Hobnail Pattern Perfume Bottle with Atomizer. No marks. The hobnail pattern covers the entire glass portion. Measures 3 3/4'' tall and 2 1/4'' in diameter. Bulb and atomizer function well, bulb shows some fading. Glass portion in very good condition. Sorry, but the pictures did not turn out well. Probably from the 1940s-50s era.  

Vintage Germany Purple Luster Shaving Mug and Brush Vintage Purple Luster with Gold Trim Shaving Mug marked Made in Germany. The shaving brush is marked Sterilized, Peerless, U.S.A., Set in Rubber. Not sure, but possibly a badger brush. There is some wear to the gold trim on the shaving mug, a dark speck present from manufacture, but no chips, cracks or crazing. Mug measures 4'' tall, brush is 4 1/2'' long. This set has an old-fashioned, old-world appeal.  

Estee Lauder Dresser Jar with Gold Embossed Lid White frosted glass Dresser Jar with Embossed Gold Finished Lid. The gold lid is highly embossed with scrolls and a cerub design. This dresser jar originally held Estee Lauder face powder (which can be reordered) but can also be used for a variety of vanity items. No chips, cracks, etc.--the gold finish is in very good condition.
