There is a tiny speck of paint missing on his robe which you could touch up if you wish. He is in very good condition. Probably 1950s-1970s era.

His black robe has three spots where the color has flaked--probably rubbing from the pole and bucket. His head could use a little cleaning but I'm not sure how to do so. Otherwise he is in good condition and totally adorable.

He has obviously been working hard as his the knees of his pants are rubbd as well as his face. His robe has paint rubbed off the backside, probably from old tape or a sticker. If you are handy with a paint brush, then he could easily be touched up. As is, he is worn, but actually better looking than the pictures show.
