Margit Tevan Hammered Copper Footed Bowl Signed Hammered Copper Footed Bowl Compote set on a pedestal held up by four stags ? encircling the base. Margit Tevan, (1901-1978) was a Hungarian metal artist and sculptor. Signed Tevan on the bottom. Also has a series of numbers very faintly marked (cannot read clearly) on the bottom. Measures 3 7/8'' tall and 6 3/4'' in diameter. There are some darkened areas on the interior of the bowl (visible in pictures), but no dents or dings to the metal. Tevan pieces were handmade by the artist so each piece is unique.
