This pottery pitcher has the glazed white interior and ''Weeping Gold'' exterior USA pottery companies made during the 1950s. McCoy made a line they called Sunburst Gold which is very similar. This pitcher is unmarked--it would have had a sticker originally--and there are faint marks on the flat, dry base but I cannot make them out. Because of the 22K or 24K gold used in the decorations these ''Weeping Gold'' pieces were costly to make. This elegant pitcher stands 7'' tall and is in very good condition. |
