Vintage McCoy Pottery Yellow Ball Jug or Pitcher. This pitcher is pictured in the HNH book of McCoy Pottery, Vol. 1, page 139. It has an unusual ice lip--like a mustache? It is unmarked as the book states with a flat, dry, worn, unglazed bottom. Measures almost 8'' tall and 5 1/2'' in diameter. There are no chips or cracks. Some age discoloration and crazing is present and also a small manufacturing cut in the yellow glaze. This would be a nice addition to a ball jug, McCoy or colorful vintage kitchen collection. |
