Vintage McCoy Pottery Rustic Line Candy Dish Planter, circa 1945. Marked McCoy on base and pictured on page 217 of the Hanson-Nissen-Hanson book of McCoy Pottery, Vol. 1. This planter is quite heavy. There is a small chip on the rm with a hairline extending to the side. There is another light hairline on the opposite corner. Both hairlines are stable, you cannot feel any separation in the clay. Planter is still quite solid and attractive, but price is reduced due to imperfections. |
