Sandwich reeded font pear w/white threads lamp This ultra-rare lamp has no published examples known. The light purple color glass font with white spiral threading internally is a horizontally reeded pear shape with a punty ring and has a #2 size collar. It is mounted on a marble and brass base identical to several lamps attributed to Sandwich.
Thuro #2 book shows several related examples with Cape Cod, Mt Washington attributions but all are #1 burners with different bases and none are punty ringed.
A smile shape line is visible but not felt along edge of punty ring[mentioned for complete accuracy as it was in making]
color does not show true in images!
