signed Cenedese corroso finish goose by Alfredo Barbini
12inch ht glass figure of goose with dark amethyst core cased with clear glass finished with heavily acid etched CORROSO finish. Black feet, beak, comb and eyes. Designed and created by Alfredo Barbini who worked at Cenedese Co for 2 years, 1948-50, before opening his own studio. Perfect condition.
Signed on bottom of foot [see image] remnant of paper label as well[unreadable]
A rare piece of Italian mid century art glass by one of the most renowned of Italian glass designers.
