brass Hendryx bird cage/house circa 1920 house form
made of solid brass and signed Hendryx on front door and again on the floor.
This is the rare house form cage they all ask for. In super condition with nice mellow patination from age. Complete with sliding bottom tray, heart decorated feed and water doors, ring perch and mirror. Also several more wood perches.
Patterned after several popular styles of the 20's, Arts and Crafts, Prairie style, or even the Chinese oriental style home, You find this model only rarely.
Some folks spell it Hendricks or Hendrix.
Only thing missing from this are the porceline feed and water dishes. They are available without too much searching.
