Autograph dated2/17/1889 U S Grant US President CDV
Found in a near mint gilt brass mounted CDV album with gilt page edges along with nearly 50 CDV's, business cards, colored botanical cards, foreign military images, pencil notated family images, foreign travel views, allegorical views, etc. ia a E.Anthony/Brady Gallery image in like new condition, showing U S Grant in uniform seated and on the mat below is written [U S Grant, Ex. Mansion, Feb, 17th 1877] in strong bold like new condition. [corners of CDV are cut round to aid insertion in album. otherwise untouched]
All of the insides and images are in the same condition throughout. I have not removed any of the other images to see backstamps.
The album is from Chester County, PA and contains several Haines/Darlington images. No further info on the familys is available at this time.
We are offering the whole unit intact and will not split or remove any of the contents. No questions about the contents except those pertaining to Grant will be answered.
