Important early Heintz Art Metal Baseball trophy 1911 early unmarked except sterling on the inlays bronze trophy by the Art Metal Shop of Buffalo, NY, the preceeding company to the Heintz Art Metal Shop, which started in 1913. This special order item with applied and engraved sterling overlays in fabulous baseball motifs was awarded at the Greater Buffalo Baseball League in 1911 to the Acacia Club and Presented by The Lake Erie Excursion Co.

One side depicts a player jumping up to catch a ball while another slides into the base head first each shown in an Art Nouveau wreath with crossed bats.
The other side has the inscription in similar wreath w/crossed bats
