5 WW Deatrick photo postcards of Kutztown College work 5 ultra rare subject matter & photos of professor of natural science at Keystone Normal School, Kutztown, Pennsylvania ,James S Grim. He apparently found a cure for the dreaded fruit tree disease spreading the country and decimating western orchards. These cards show him at work, tree saved from destruction and 3 ultra rare early microscopic photos of the disease and parasite.
Also important was the postcard publisher W W Deatrick, another professor at Kutztown, historian, preacher and author who was deeply involved in documenting local history through prose and photos.

The 5 cards are unused on reverse, divided back and all signed WW Deatrick, Kutztown, PA
